First off, where did the disconnect stem from? Why is it such a hard concept to follow? If the people are fed, sheltered, and clothed then supportive politics will follow. Its almost disgusting to see they want us to become more patriotic but still strip civil liberties left and right.
The 1950-2000 way of politics is not the way to go and at some point shit has to change. The younger generation will eventually rise to prove this.
